Leyla
2008 - 2021
Eine große Hundepersönlichkeit hat den Weg über die Regenbogenbrücke angetreten – unsere Staffordshiredame Leyla ist für immer von uns gegangen.
Sie war im Ende November 2010 zusammen mit ihren acht Welpen durch die Ordnungsbehörde aus katastrophaler Haltung befreit und zu uns ins Tierheim gebracht worden. Alle Welpen konnten in ein neues Zuhause vermittelt werden, doch Leyla blieb.
Sie hatte zwar Probleme mit manchen Hunden und mit Katzen, war aber ganz besonders menschenbezogen und verschmust und wurde nicht nur als Liebling unserer Tierschutzjugend und unseres gesamten Teams hoch geschätzt und geliebt.
Da Leyla in den vielen Tierheimjahren eine sehr enge Bindung zu ihrer Bezugsperson aufgebaut hat, durfte sie für immer in unserer Obhut bleiben und wurde auf einer liebevollen Pflegestelle betreut. Nach einem Zusammenbruch mussten wir die inzwischen dreizehnjährige Seniorin Ende Juli erlösen, und sie ist in den Armen ihrer Pflegeeltern friedlich eingeschlafen.
Wir sind sehr traurig, Leyla hat uns elf Jahre lang begleitet und hinterlässt eine riesige Lücke. Wir werden sie immer mit Liebe und Respekt im Gedächtnis behalten.
Leyla hatte liebe Paten, bei denen wir uns herzlich bedanken möchten.
